What’s New

We’re excited to share that we’re taking a big step toward making Notion feel native for millions more people. Starting now, Notion—along with Notion Calendar, Notion Faces, and Marketplace—is available in Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese in app and on web.

Here’s how you can set your language:

• On web or desktop, go to Settings → Preferences → Language

• On mobile, change your device language to Indonesian, Thai, or Vietnamese in your system settings and your Notion mobile app will automatically change its language too.

From clearer names and cleaner tables to simpler settings, gentler visuals, and fewer distractions, databases just got much simpler! The new “+ property” makes naming and picking a property much smoother. You can now group, insert, or rename properties right from the property menu. Web, desktop, mobile—all refreshed! Like turning your database into a blog feed! Use it to scroll through status updates, user research, bug reports, and more—then add comments and emoji reactions. 👀

Just add a new view to your database and select Feed.

Now Notion AI can answer extra-complex questions about your databases, drawing info from across properties and any notes inside your database pages. For example, “Which accounts in @Sales CRM have call notes that mention European data residency?”

Try it by going to Home, selecting the Research tab, and @-mention a database in your question.

Notion’s #2 most requested feature is nearly here! (#1 is offline mode, also coming !) You’ll be able to grant permissions by database row. The person assigned to those database pages won’t be able to see the rest of the database. Stay tuned.

Have 17,362 messages in your Gmail inbox? Notion AI can help. Search through older archives and new emails to get the latest updates on a project or summarize a long thread. We maintain strict privacy controls, so each user can only see their own inbox. Available on Business and Enterprise plans.

Managing projects in Linear? Notion AI can now search those projects and issues—including titles, assignees, creators, and comments. Ask questions like, “What blockers are assigned to me this week?” and get instant answers with citations, all while respecting your Linear permissions. Available on Business and Enterprise plans.

Vibe coding continues to amaze us. Now you can connect your apps and websites to a Notion database to manage all the content: visual assets, posts, and tasks. Check out this Replit demo.

Now you can select which Notion Property Type you want to use for each CSV column, making imports so much tidier! Simply upload and create a new database or merge your CSV with an existing database.

• Databases are way easier to use on mobile. Tap, view, edit, or create filters with a couple flicks of your thumb.

• Manage any Notion database in Notion Calendar if it includes dates. Just click into the view and select

  Open in Calendar. Great for tracking deadlines.

• Search your PDFs in Notion, Google Drive, SharePoint and OneDrive with Enterprise Search!

• Google Drive AI Connector can now search across more file types: .docx, pptx, xlsx, csv, and PDFs.

• Organization owners can now place users under legal hold and preserve all the docs they’ve created, edited, or viewed—preventing deletion of important files.

AI meeting notes is a new kind of block that perfectly captures and summarizes your conversations. And if you use Notion Calendar, you can have AI meeting notes added automatically to every meeting. Try it for free!

Stop wasting time hunting for answers across your work tools with a new, unified search experience. Enterprise search looks across Notion and other tools for fast answers and quick summaries (not just links!).

Now when you search, Notion AI will look across Microsoft (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), with Gmail and Linear rolling out in the coming weeks and Zendesk, Salesforce, and Box in alphas soon! All PDFs uploaded to your Notion workspace will be automatically searchable! This is a huge time-saver: No more manual parsing through PDFs for the information you need.

Research mode saves days worth of time. It analyzes all of your sources (your workspace plus your connected tools)—and the web—to draft detailed, polished docs you can share with your team. Write project updates, research reports, and best-practices guides in minutes. Think of it as your personal analyst!

We’ve made it really easy to ask Notion AI a question, use research mode, or build a custom workflow. Just go to your sidebar and click the Home tab.

No switching between apps or separate subscriptions: You can choose top models to chat with right in Notion. This is perfect for things like quick brainstorms when you don’t need context from your workspace. More models to come!

Just like Notion, you can type / to use your favorite content blocks! You can also prompt AI using your space bar. Use it to draft follow-up emails that use your Notion docs for context or just to polish your writing.

Verified pages get priority in search results and show up in citations and mentions. We’ll remind you when it’s time to re-verify, so nothing ever gets stale.

Send real-time updates to your API integrations whenever content changes in Notion. For example, use webhooks to publish Notion pages to your blog or automatically update your customer-experience team in Zendesk when a task is edited in Notion. Learn more →

Connect your Jira Cloud instance to quickly find answers about things like team priorities, status updates, and tasks. If the answer lives somewhere else (like Slack, Notion, or GitHub), Notion AI will find it!

Want to dig into the data behind a chart? Now you can click on any part of a chart to quickly learn about the details behind it.

Notion Forms now allow you to ask follow-up questions based on earlier answers using conditional logic! This feature is available on Business and Enterprise plans, but anyone can try building and sharing a Notion Form →

Quickly toggle between databases (your project trackers, team docs, roadmaps—whatever you keep in Notion) without leaving your page. Just click Customize layout at the top of the page, select Tabbed under Page settings, and add your databases to the tabs below the heading.

This one’s for workspace admins! Manage the settings of your members, guests, and security all in one place—even with multiple workspaces. If you’re on the Enterprise plan, simply head to Settings to set up your organization.

Quickly log in to Notion using passkeys like Touch ID or Microsoft ID. Plus, now you can use the same login credentials for Notion and Notion Calendar!

A few more improvements we made for you

• For all our developers out there, our public API endpoints just got 2× faster.

• Admins can now control which Notion workspaces employees can use on the company network. This helps keep work and personal accounts separate. Learn more →

Create custom setups instantly with AI! Describe what you need (you can be as detailed as you’d like), and AI will build your use case. This is a huge timesaver. Just type /database and select Build with AI.

We made a bunch of pre-built setups for you, like Task Trackers, Meeting Notes, and Brainstorm Sessions. They're easy to customize, too. Just create a new page, click database, and select More templates.

Automatically update pages on a schedule with recurring database automations. Set and forget tasks like weekly reminders, or auto-generate weekly status docs for projects marked as In Progress.

We made it really obvious who has access to your doc (and what type of access they have) in the Share menu so you never get a “need access” note again.

Now you can restrict viewing privileges so others in your workspace only see their own submissions—not the entire database of responses!

You can now set an expiration date for your scheduling link and how far into the future people can schedule a meeting with you in Notion Calendar. Download Notion Calendar →

• We added the ability to search your settings from the ••• menu.

• When you make a form that allows respondents to select more than one answer to a question, you can now limit the number of options people can select.

• In the Android app’s inbox, you can now swipe left or right to act on notifications.

• When you make a button, you can now set it to insert a block at the top or bottom of your page.

Now when you ask Notion AI questions, it will search GitHub (in addition to other sources like Slack and Google Drive) to find answers. This is a big shortcut for finding code, markdown files, pull requests, and more. Learn more →

Notion Site URLs often have a long string of numbers and characters, but now you can make them exactly what you’d like! When searching, type in a keyword like “Home,” “Settings,” or “Templates” to jump to specific places in Notion. Try it with the ⌘ P keyboard shortcut. It’s a small thing that can make you much faster!

When you highlight text, Notion AI suggests relevant ways to help. It may offer to Explain the text or help you Improve Writing. One click and you get what you need—no prompting. Teams have reported a major uptick in the value of Notion AI with this new, easy-to-use design!

Turn any database into a chart in one click! Charts help you and your team track projects, goals, sales, or any info you keep in Notion. Try them for free—and if you love them, create unlimited charts on any paid plan.

It’s easy to add charts to any Notion page or database. Just type /chart and pick your source. When the source data changes, your chart will update automatically. No more pasting screenshots that quickly fall out of date.

Nobody likes flipping between apps to stay on top of projects. Now you don’t have to: you can add multiple charts on a page, then click and drag them anywhere to make a custom layout. And embed analytics from other tools like Tableau and Amplitude to create your dream dashboard!

Choose from bar, line, or pie charts and change color palettes, axis names, data labels, and more. Charts should be as beautiful as they are useful!

Automations got a big upgrade. You can now specify more than one condition to trigger an action—for example, when a task is marked “overdue” and “high-priority”, automatically notify the team.
